What's New?

Activate your IADR/AADR Member Account
Recently, IADR/AADR upgraded its membership database and Web site. These updates will provide additional security and customization for accessing members-only features, networking opportunities and Association publications. To enjoy these updates, please activate your account. You will need to enter your member number, first name and last name on the left side of the screen. The activation process will require you to create a unique username and password for your member account. Once you activate your account, use your new username and password to log into the members-only section of the Web site. Once you’re logged into the members-only section, you will be able to search for other IADR/AADR members, update your member record, renew your membership and register for upcoming meetings.

Budget Deal: Agency Funding Reductions Likely and Key Student Loan Subsidy Eliminated

On August 2, President Obama signed the Budget Control Act of 2011 (BCA) into law. After months of back and forth between Congress and the Obama administration, a two-step plan was developed to reduce the deficit over the course of 10 years (FY12-FY21) while increasing the nation’s credit limit to a level that is sufficient through calendar year 2012.

Study Shows Bone Fluoride Levels Not Associated with Osteosarcoma

The International and American Associations for Dental Research have released in its Journal of Dental Research a study that investigated bone fluoride levels in individuals with osteosarcoma, which is a rare, primary malignant bone tumor that is more prevalent in males.
