AADR National Student Research Group

At the recent IADR/AADR/CADR General Session & Exhibition the AADR National Student Research Group (NSRG) provided valuable opportunities for students to network with other researchers and learn more about IADR/AADR.
The AADR NSRG presented two oral sessions during the General Session. Their plenary session, titled Dental Research Advocacy: Our future needs YOU to demand more research funding!, focused on strategies for all students to become advocates for oral health research. A hands-on workshop, titled Mentoring: Guidance for Navigating Careers in Dental Research, introduced dental students and student researchers to techniques in identifying career mentors and helped them to understand key ways in which mentors can be identified during their career path.
