Symposium on Gender Bias in Scientific Publishing

A symposium on gender bias in scientific publishing is taking place Friday, September 25, 2015, 8:30 a.m. ET – 4:30 p.m. ET in the Joseph and Loretta Law Auditorium of the Jordan M’62 Medical Education Center at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. This one-day Symposium will address the issue of gender bias in scientific publishing. Registration is complimentary but required.

David E. Barmes Global Health Lecture: Medical Research and Capacity Building for Development: The Experience of Rwanda

The National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) and the Fogarty International Center will present the 2015 David E. Barmes Global Health Lecture: "Medical Research and Capacity Building for Development: The Experience of Rwanda," on Wednesday, July 29, at 11:30 a.m. ET. The lecture will be delivered by Rwandan Health Minister Dr. Agnes Binagwaho and it will take place at the NIH campus in the Masur Auditorium, Clinical Center (Building 10) in Bethesda, Maryland, USA.

The Coalition for Health Funding Celebrates 45 Year Anniversary

Established in 1970 the Coalition for Health Funding is the oldest and largest nonprofit alliance working to preserve and strengthen public health investments in the best interest of all Americans.
