|Need More Committee Members?|
ACHE has developed an easy-to-use recruitment tool to encourage more members to raise their hands and become an active part of your chapter. It is a simple four-step process.
Read through the Volunteer Engagement Guidelines to familiarize yourself with important information about the Volunteer Engagement Program and learn helpful recruitment tips and protocol.
Read and sign the Chapter Commitment Form that declares your interest in using any volunteers who sign up for activities within your chapter.
ACHE will distribute a Volunteer Interest Form to members of your chapter and will send you a spreadsheet of the valuable skills and services offered by members of your chapter.
Use your volunteers! Go to our volunteer engagement section in the Chapter Service Center. There you will find more details about the program and forms to start the process. We will need your Chapter Commitment Form by Nov. 9.
If you have questions, please feel free to contact Terra L. Levin, FACHE, CAE, at firstname.lastname@example.org or (312) 424-9329. According to the 2012 Chapter Member Needs Survey results, only 20 percent of respondents served as a chapter volunteer in the past year and 38 percent indicated they would consider volunteering. Often, the reason someone does not volunteer is because no one asked.
