A $1 million grant that the American Medical Association gave to the Penn State College of Medicine last week for new doctor training programs will also involve six other Central Pennsylvania health care groups, according to the college.

Medical malpractice lawsuits filed in Pennsylvania declined nearly 45 percent over the past 10 years, according to a report from the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts.

Lower Allen Township-based Vibra Healthcare LLC announced today the completion of its acquisition of the Complex Care Hospital of Idaho, which has been renamed the Vibra Hospital of Boise. Read more
