|CVHEG President: Roberta Tinch, MHA, FACHE|
It has been such an exciting year for the chapter and we have celebrated some milestone accomplishments throughout the year. As we roll into fall, I am reflective of what the chapter has accomplished and what it is poised to do for you next year. Earlier this spring, I shared with you my goals for the chapter and how I wanted CVHEG to provide value to you. To that end, we are still moving forward on our promises to you. If you haven’t yet had the opportunity, check out our new website, www.cvheg.org, where you will find information about what is going on with the chapter and links to what is happening at ACHE. Also, keep an eye out for a new chapter logo!!
I would like to share my appreciation to all of you who took a few minutes to take the Members Satisfaction Survey that ACHE sent out a month ago. Your feedback gives us the opportunity to refine our programs to meet your needs. If you were not able to provide your feedback that way, you can always reach out to me or any leaders directly.
A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to join over 200 other chapter leaders, Regents, Governors, and ACHE President/CEO Deborah Bowen at the Chapter Leaders Conference. We had a full agenda of learning, sharing best practices, and getting energized around the work that we do. I left the conference more invigorated and excited than I could have imagined. ACHE has a wealth of resources available to us here at the chapter and we will be tapping into those resources and making them available for you here in Central Virginia.
Looking forward to 2019, I invite you to be a part of our growth and our success. Your talents, insights, and professional expertise are the key ingredients to continue on the success that we’ve had. I am personally asking each of you to think about how you might get more involved with CVHEG. The chapter will be seeking nominations for members to join the Board of Directors, Membership Committee, and Early Careerist Committee. You may even desire to participate in Advancement training or participate in educational programs. If you would like to participate in anyway, do not hesitate to reach out to us.
I look forward to seeing new faces!!
Roberta Tinch, FACHE
