HFMA Panel Discussion

The Hawai'i Chapter of Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) hosts their annual 2016 conference, April 21-22.  Dr. Kenric Murayama will host a panel discussion entitled, "Engaging Physician Leaders: The 'What's In It For Me (WIIFM)?' Problem.

Date:  April 21, 2016, 2:00PM
Place:  Ala Moana Hotel

An Update on Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs in Hawai‘i Hospitals

The Gift of Hope - Lessons Learned Through Medical Missions

From December 30, 2015 through 8 January 2016, a team of over 40 personnel, brought together by the Dr. Saw Mra Aung Foundation, Suu Foundation, and Rotarians from Alaska, Nepal, and Hawaii including volunteer healthcare providers and Rotary members traveled together to the Rakhine state, Myanmar.  Their mission was to provide basic healthcare to the local population in and around the cities of Thandwe and Ngapali, Myanmar (formerly Burma).  Read more
