Message From Your ACHE Regent
Winter 2022

Aloha!

As we turn the page past the first quarter of 2022, I hope this message finds you, your colleagues, and family in good health.

The American College of Healthcare Executives is dedicated to providing valuable resources supporting lifelong learning and development of today and tomorrow’s healthcare leaders. I encourage you to take advantage of the multitude of services offered by the ACHE which are naturally included in your membership fee. It all starts at the Career Resource Center [https://www.ache.org/career-resource-center] which includes the following:

· A rich on-demand content library providing expert advice on how to leverage available resources in the advancement of your career: https://www.ache.org/career-resource-center/career-learning-center.

· Products and Services, including CareerEDGE Coaching, Interview Prep Tool, and Resume Review: https://www.ache.org/career-resource-center/products-and-services.

· Free publications including Healthcare Executive, Frontiers, and Journal of Healthcare Management and focusing on latest trends and best practices: https://www.ache.org/learning-center/publications.

· Scholarships, internships, and fellowships (applications currently open): https://www.ache.org/career-resource-center/special-groups/resources-for-students-and-early-careerists.

Finally, the Hawai’i Pacific Chapter of ACHE continues to work hard in providing fantastic educational and networking opportunities as we continually pivot towards more in-person events:

· 2022 Congress on Healthcare Leadership (March 28-31) – The 2022 Congress is entitled “Advance” and will be in-person at the Hyatt Regency Chicago with 12 possible face-to-face credits. We will also be hosting our traditional Congress Chapter dinner at the Quartino’s Restaurant on Monday evening. Included with your registration is a separate virtual Leadership Symposium April 11-12 as well offering its own unique content. https://congress.ache.org/

· 2022 Hawai‘i HFMA Conference (April 7-8) – We are partnering with the Hawai’i Chapter of the Healthcare Finance Management Association (HFMA) to bring you another in-person event at the Hawai’i Prince. We have (2) panel discussions planned for this event and a multitude of finance and revenue cycle sessions.

· 2022 Annual Breakfast and Member Meeting (July 22) – This event is back at the Hawai’i Prince and will occur prior to the Annual Healthcare Association of Hawai‘i meeting.

Warmest Aloha and Wishes for a Great 2022,

Micah
