ACHE of Iowa President Message
Fall Update

As summer begins to fade and fall takes hold we look forward to the IHA annual meeting in Des Moines. A great opportunity for education, networking and plain old fun. Reconnecting with colleagues and chatting about the current challenges we all face is something many of us truly look forward to. While fall is my favorite time of the year, it is also reminds us of what is just around the corner. Not only winter from a weather sense but a variety of operational obstacles are looming as well.  We lead some of the most complex organizations ever designed. The ACHE and IHA work tirelessly to provide education and resources as we navigate these challenges. I encourage you to make time for the annual meeting as well as the ACHE sponsored events. All events are outlined in the IHA brochure which can be found on the Iowa Hospital Association website.

The Iowa Chapter of the ACHE has worked very hard to provide networking and quality educational events throughout the year. There has been a renewed effort to try and hold scheduled events across the State in a variety of locations. All events can be found on the Chapter website: http://iowa.ache.org/. Thanks again for all of your efforts and leadership this past year in these organizations that mean so much to the communities we serve.

Sincerely,

Kevin Kincaid, FACHE

Chapter President
