President's Message
Heather Fuller, FACHE

What a busy spring it has been! I can’t believe the school year is over and we are already having 100 degree temperatures! The spring education in Wichita was a big success. I would like to thank Patricia Sanders-Hall and the education committee, as well as Bob Bregant and the membership committee for their hard work in planning the educational sessions and the networking event. I would also like to thank all of the volunteer panel members! I have heard so many positive comments about the topics and information shared.

With summer schedules quickly filling up, I hope you save the date of July 24 for our next KAHCE education event, which will be hosted by the Kansas City Local Program Council (KCLPC). The topic will be “Diversity and Inclusion: Business Implications and Imperatives for Healthcare Organizations.” This event will be held in Lee’s Summit at St. Luke’s East Hospital.

Speaking of diversity, ACHE has asked each chapter to strengthen their commitment to diversity and inclusion. KAHCE is working to complete a board approved statement on diversity and inclusion which outlines our chapter’s commitment. Once the statement is approved, it will be made available on our website.

I hope you all have a wonderful summer! As always, please feel free to contact me at hfuller@srhc.com with any suggestions or questions!
