Message from Your Vermont ACHE Regent - Summer 2016

Message from Your ACHE Regent
Summer 2016

Good day fellow ACHE colleagues,

Greetings from New Hampshire!  Yes, that’s right, your neighbor to the East.  While I changed positions and became the President and CEO of LRGHealthcare in Laconia, NH recently, I am still the ACHE Regent for Vermont until Congress in March, 2017.   Fortunately, I didn’t go too far so I can still stay in touch.  That being said, I must admit that I read VT Digger on a less frequent basis and haven’t kept up completely on the latest iterations of the All Payer Model (APM).

While I remain your Regent today, I need your help in identifying and encouraging candidates in Vermont to run in the 2016-2017 Council of Regents Elections. The deadline to submit the letter of intent to run for Regent is fast approaching and we want to ensure a robust election. To qualify for Regent, a candidate must be an ACHE Fellow in good standing, work or live in Vermont and submit a letter of intent by August 26, 2016.

Please reference the Official Notice for the 2016-2017 Regent Elections page on the ACHE website for details about the election and instructions for submitting a candidacy. If you, or potential candidates you know, have any questions about the elections or the role of the Regent please feel free to contact me directly.  The last three years as your Regent have been very worthwhile and rewarding for me personally and professionally and I highly recommend the role to anyone interested.

Sincerely,

Kevin W. Donovan, FACHE
