Message from the President

It’s been a busy fall!  We have co-sponsored 2 events with the New Hampshire Hospital Association and the Vermont Hospital Association with excellent speakers and attendance.  These panels were approved for 1.5 face-to-face credits that were free for those who attended.

November brought bright sunny and cool days for our Annual Meeting held in Stowe, VT.  We had sold-out attendance for or Thursday Face-to-face education 75+ members attended our annual meeting on Friday. The 2-day event focused on Patient Engagement with amazing speakers.  It was a very successful 2 days of education, net-working, awards, and fun.  I want to thank all of Sponsors for supporting the Chapter in providing such a great day.

We ended our Annual meeting with the passing of the baton!  Kevin Donovan will now serve as your NNEAHE President for the next 2 years!

Our goal for the future is to grow in members so that we can expand the leadership education and mentoring opportunity to our members.  We will also focus on a new mentorship program.  More to come!

Save the dates:

Spring Session: April 27, 2017 (6 F2F credits, Grappone Center in Concord, NH)

Annual Meeting: November 2 & 3, 2017 in Ogunquit, Maine!

I look forward to seeing you all in 2017!

Respectfully,

Karen F. Clements, RN, FACHE

(Outgoing) President, NNEAHE Chapter
