Message from the President

It’s been a busy year for the Northern New England Association of Healthcare Executives (NNEAHE) and while that year is coming to a close, we still have our Annual Meeting about to happen at the Cliff House in Ogunquit, ME on November 2nd and 3rd.  As I write this, we are sold out for the Thursday ACHE On-Location event providing 6 Category 1 (Face to Face) credits.  That session, Possibilities, Probabilities and Creative Solutions led by Kevin O’Connor, promises to deliver new ways to think about our respective organizational issues and their potential solutions.

In addition to the ACHE On-Location event, we also have our Annual Meeting on Friday with a full agenda focused on legislative issues impacting our region, care coordination strategies and patient throughput initiatives.  On top of all that, the Annual Meeting is a great chance to network with various vendors and with your peers from Northern New England.  While we have a good turnout signed up already, there’s always room for more attendees, so I hope to see you there!

In closing, and as I wrap up my first year as your Chapter President, I have had a bit of an opportunity to reflect on our work this past year and determine ways to improve in the coming year.  As always, our chapter goals will focus on providing outstanding education sessions to our members, but also to grow our membership and increase mentoring activities for new professionals.  I look forward to providing you more information on those efforts in the near future.

Kevin W. Donovan, FACHE

President, NNEAHE Chapter
