Winter/Spring Update 2018
Message from Your Vermont ACHE Regent - Winter/ Spring 2018

Message from Your ACHE Regent
Winter 2018

With winter slowly loosening its grasp, it’s time to start thinking about upcoming ACHE events!  First and foremost, ACHE’s Congress on Healthcare Leadership will be held in Chicago from March 26-29 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. Closer to home, our local Chapter, NNEAHE, will be hosting the 2018 Spring Education Event on April 20 at the Grappone Center in Concord, N.H., with the Annual Meeting scheduled for November 1-2 at Wentworth-by-the-Sea. Please check the NNEAHE website for program details (http://nneahe.ache.org). These sessions are not only great opportunities to learn but also connect with our peers in healthcare administration.
Over the past year In Vermont, we have seen several of our “senior” healthcare executives announce their retirement. I want to express my appreciation to these individuals for their commitment to serving the healthcare needs of our communities! It is now incumbent on the rest of us to carry on their tradition of community and political engagement. Whether you are part of a hospital, MCO or Human Services agency, we play a critical role in shaping the future of our state’s healthcare system.

I also want to recognize new members, Fellows and recertified Fellows from 2017 and 2018.
