Welcome Back from the 2008-2009 ACHE Chairman

As you begin the school year, I welcome you as a Student Associate of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). You are poised to become part of the next generation of healthcare leaders, and your membership in ACHE shows your commitment to healthcare management excellence and your dedication to improving healthcare delivery.

I hope you will take advantage of the many opportunities ACHE offers students at both the national and local levels. As a Student Associate, you are automatically a member of your local ACHE chapter; therefore, I encourage you to become actively involved. Chapters are an excellent resource for networking and continuing education, which will benefit you in the transition into your healthcare management career.

I am confident you will find ACHE to be a valuable resource as you achieve your goal of becoming a healthcare executive. I wish you a successful school year.

MG David A. Rubenstein, FACHE
2008–2009 Chairman
