SOHL Programs: Recent and Upcoming Events

May 16, 2019: The San Diego Organization of Healthcare Leaders (SOHL) partnered with UC San Diego Health to host the Access to Opioid Treatment program at the San Diego Public Library, Shiley Special Event Suite. Over 30 participants were in attendance to increase awareness throughout the community about access to opioid treatment options.

June 25, 2019: Join SOHL for the Leading a Culture of Patient Safety program at the Sharp HealthCare Spectrum Auditorium from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Earn 1.5 hours of Qualified Education Credits and learn from local experts in the field about patient safety reform in assisted living, how professionals raised in different cultures affect patient safety, the pros and cons of respecting authority, and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Leading for Safety initiative.

July 28, 2019: Join SOHL for the 2019 Live Well San Diego 5k and Kids 1-Mile Fun Run at the County Administration Center Waterfront Park. Now in its 6th year, the Live Well San Diego 5K and Kids 1-Mile Fun Run will bring thousands of San Diegans together in support of a healthy, safe, and thriving San Diego County. This year’s event will celebrate the hero in all of us with a superhero-themed race and family-friendly activities throughout the morning. Invite your family, friends, and colleagues to join the event.

Register today and search for “SOHL Heroes” when selecting to join a team.  Please remember to save your registration confirmation email from San Diego Blood Bank as this will contain the personalized barcode to receive your packet/shirt.
