President's Message Spring 2019
Mary Anne Weidner, President, STC-ACHE

Greetings STC-ACHE Members!

Salutations!  The Summer of 2019 is upon us and we have had several fantastic events as we move towards the next season.  2019 year has had a great Health Care Landscape, followed by the Spring Educational event, our LPC event in Corpus Christi at Texas A& M CC and just this past week our Summer Educational event at the San Antonio Country Club.  All of these panel sessions featured notable leaders.  They presented great information about leading our workforce and how we need to be open to change in the unknowable future.

Please save the dates for our upcoming events, LPC Rio Grande event on August 9th and our STC-ACHE Student & Early careerist event in September.

As a next generation leader, please continue to work towards your Fellow credential.   Our local STC- ACHE chapter has led many efforts to assist you in receiving needed educational opportunities as well as study opportunities for your Board examination. Please take advantage of these opportunities. Additionally, we should all take appropriate opportunities to discuss your own FACHE credential to your facility and medical staff.

Finally, I would like to thank Charlotte L. Hildebrand, PhD, FACHE, Lieutenant Colonel, US Army who served as our Executive Board Secretary and was recently deployed.  She has handed the reins over to Jessica Forman, Major, US Army so please welcome her and our best to Charlotte.

As always, if I can help you in any way in my role as President, please call on me. Thank you for a great start to our year and for all of your continued great work it is truly appreciated!
