THEF Participates in Healthcare Holiday Mixer!

To celebrate collective health initiatives and the region's opportunities, THEF joined several other healthcare organizations for a year-end networking mixer at Smashing Boxes in Downtown Durham on December 13, 2017. Participating organizations included: Digital Health @ RTP, Health 2.0 NC Triangle, HealthTech 2027, Digital Health Impact + Transformation (DHIT) and Smashing Boxes.

Numerous members came together across multiple health industries, networks and meet-up groups. Additionally, THEF members earned 0.5 Qualified Education Credits listening to speakers Robert Furberg, PhD, MBA, from RTI’s Digital Health and Clinical Informatics program and Jeff Rogers, Vice President Channel Partnerships at Comprehend Systems share their perspectives about "The Use of Biometrics in Health."

A special thanks to Brent Anthony, a former THEF President, from Health 2.0 NC Triangle for his efforts in bringing these organizations together and Nick Jordan, CEO of Smashing Boxes for being the host sponsor!
