Annual Regent's Award Nominations

It’s that time of year again! As many of you know, the Utah Healthcare Executives presents two annual Regent’s Awards. These awards are presented to local members of ACHE who have distinguished themselves through their superior service and achievements in the field of healthcare management. The two UHE Regent Awards include the Early Career Healthcare Executive Award and the Senior-Level Healthcare Executive Award. Criteria for both awards are listed below.  

To nominate a colleague for one of these awards please respond to Jasmine Juarez at uhe.ache@gmail.com, and provide the following information and attach their resume if you have access to it:

Nominations are due by Thursday, August 1st.  

Award winners will be selected by the Utah Healthcare Executives Board and announced at the upcoming UHA Fall Leadership Meeting Awards Dinner on September 26th in Park City.

These awards represent a wonderful opportunity to recognize and promote excellence in our field. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

Early Career Healthcare Executive Award (Based in part on the National ACHE Award Criteria)

Criteria:

·  Have a minimum of a graduate degree from an accredited university or college.

·  Be an active Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

·  Have not reached his/her 40th birthday by March 31, 2020.

·  Demonstration of leadership ability

·  Demonstration of innovative and creative management

·  Executive capability in developing his/her organization and promoting its growth and stature in the community

·  Participation in local, state, or provincial hospital and health association activities

·  Participation in civic/community activities and projects

·  Demonstration of participation in College activities and interest in assisting ACHE in achieving its objectives

Senior-Level Healthcare Executive Award

Criteria:

·  A Fellow of ACHE

·  A CEO, COO, or other senior-level executive title within the organization

·  Demonstration of leadership ability

·  Demonstration of innovative and creative management

·  Executive capability in developing his/her organization and promoting its growth and stature in the community

·  Contributions to the development of others in the healthcare profession

·  Demonstration of leadership in local, state, or provincial hospital and health association activities

·  Participation in civic/community activities and projects

·  Demonstration of participation in College activities and interest in assisting ACHE in achieving its objectives
