Executive Spotlight
Executive Spotlight: Brian Lines, MHA

Brian has been the CEO at Lone Peak Hospital since July 2018.  Prior to joining the team at Lone Peak, Brian served as the COO at Ogden Regional Medical Center for three years. Brian is proud of the work accomplished there in making significant improvements in employee engagement; during his tenure, Ogden Regional was recognized as the most improved hospital in all of Hospital Corporation of America. Prior to his time at Ogden Regional Medical Center, Brian was the COO for three years at another Utah facility, Lakeview Hospital. During that time the hospital received Thompson Reuters recognition as a Top 100 hospital three years in a row and placed in the top ten in employee engagement three years in a row.  Previous experience to joining the leadership team at Lakeview Hospital included time as Associate COO in the COO Development Program at The Medical Center of Plano in Texas. Brian was responsible for turning around the Surgical Services and Emergency Services at that facility. Before that, Brian worked at Medical City Dallas Hospital and Medical City Children’s Hospital for four years where he completed an Administrative Fellowship and was promoted to Assistant Administrator.

Brian’s Education includes a Master’s Degree of Healthcare Administration from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Arizona.

Brian was born and raised in Yuma, AZ, a border town in Southern Arizona, bordering both Mexico and Southern California. This lends strength to his Spanish language abilities. Brian is married with five children. His oldest child is 15 years old and the youngest is five. Brian especially enjoys rooting for The Ohio State football team, but he enjoys all sports and spending time with his family outdoors. His outdoor interests include snow skiing, target shooting, four wheeling, and relaxing around bodies of water.
