President's Message

Dear Colleagues,

I hope the official start of summer has you feeling energized and upbeat to help you take on the many changes upon us in healthcare! I also hope you are able to squeeze in some well-deserved time off to enjoy the beauty of our Wisconsin summers! Before we know it, back to school and fall will be upon us, just as we were getting used to days with 15 hours of sunlight... Speaking of which, now is the perfect time to block your calendar for ACHE-WI upcoming Annual Conference we have planned specifically to address the needs of our Wisconsin healthcare leaders. You may not know that the Program Committee is made up of about 25 WI ACHE members, most of whom are not on the Board – they are leaders just like you – invested in helping the Chapter deliver value to you – our members! The theme of the conference this year is “Driving Engagement through Innovation” and it will be held September 18-20 at The Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake.

The conference offers 12 Face to Face credits at a great value. We are excited to have Jeff Bahr, MD, FACP, EVP Aurora Healthcare and President of Aurora Health Care Medical Group as our keynote speaker Monday morning to kick things off. The Face to Face credit programs are offered throughout the three days (8 programs, 1.5 credit hours each), interspersed with some great topics presented by our Premier Sponsors:

  • Generational Accommodation: Americans with Disability Act (ADA) Compliance Strategies for Baby Boomers, Generation X and Millennials sponsored by Godfrey & Kahn S.C,
  • Increasing the Human Capital Investment: Why it Makes Sense to Invest More on Health Care for your Workforce sponsored by AbbVie
  • Consumer Convenience: The Process of Expanding Your Geographic Reach through Outpatient Facilities sponsored by Eppstein Uhen Architects

In addition, there will be receptions, awards, and lots of networking opportunities. Please consider attending this great event to connect with colleagues and invest in your own continued learning. Registration is now open. Register Here.

If you cannot attend the Annual Conference, be sure to check our website regularly for local education and networking opportunities and to stay updated on other Chapter activities.

Have a wonderful summer!
