President's Message

Dear Colleagues,

This year has just flown by so far!  I hope that many of you have been able to join us for 2018's events, but if not, have no fear as there are many more yet to come.  Please check out our events section to read up on some of the sessions we've already hosted as well as to find save the dates for upcoming networking and education.

ACHE of Western PA again teamed up with the other PA ACHE chapters as well as ACHE NJ to host a wonderful member reception at congress.  Hosted at the Mid-America Club with an 80th floor view of Lake Michigan over 110 members gathered to share experiences and discuss future collaborations.  We hope to hold this event again at Congress in 2019.

We also sponsored another installment of Next Generation in Leadership Seminars in May highlighting two local healthcare executives in a round table session with our Early Careerist members.  Our next networking event will be July 24th at Mario's in Shadyside, available at no cost to members and potential members. (Register Here!)  Dinner with the CEO will take place in August with featured guest Chad Townsend, CEO and Owner of Millie's Ice Cream. Education sessions resuming in September.

As the year continues, you'll want to make sure to keep an eye out for emails and social media posts about ACHE of Western PA events but also pertinent events from some of our local partners that might be of interest.  We have worked to build our relationships with other professional organizations, universities and companies to bring value to our members.

And for those of you that are eligible to advance to FACHE this year - expect to hear from one of our Board members - we want to help you reach this next achievement in your career!

Have a wonderful summer and we will see you soon!

Natalie Bulger, CHC, FACHE

President, ACHE of Western Pennsylvania
