everyone is doing well and enjoying this HOT weather we are having (my house was 90 degrees inside!!)! The WSHEF Board would like to thank you for
all that you continue to do every day as we start to return to our new normal! I am optimistic that we will continue on that
trend as the state opens up very soon.
The light is at the end of the tunnel!

& Update on Face To Face (F2F) Events
We will be
having our next Board retreat on July 19th and updating our
strategic plan for the next 18 months.
We are having a lot of great discussions about our events for the next
year, including cautiously planning to have more in-person events by early 2022. Please continue to check our website for
updates, but here are a few upcoming events. Upcoming

continues to be in constant contact with ACHE regarding future plans on events,
extending virtual events for F2F credit, etc.
As of now, they have extended F2F credits for virtual events through
September 2021. We will keep you posted
as ACHE continues to evaluate our options as things evolve. We will very likely continue to facilitate
virtual events, even after we bring back more F2F events, due to them being so
successful and members really appreciating the opportunity to network across
Advisory Council (RAC)
excited to share an update and announce a new naming convention for the
the Champions Network has been a bi-directional advisory panel for the
Membership Committee meeting on a quarterly cadence to not only support ACHE
strategic goals but foster engagement and sustainment of membership for our
state chapter. New WA ACHE members are engaged with members of this panel to
connect, explore interests and provide the linkage to events and or committees
and/or activities within our jurisdiction.

permission for renaming as the WA ACHE Regents Advisory Council (RAC).
Members of this council who support this important role support the following
roles and in return, will be credited within the ACHE Recognition Program.
function of the RAC is to:
advice to the Regent on matters of ACHE policy
the interests of all ACHE members represented by the Regent in the services and
operations of local ACHE chapters
the activities of local ACHE chapters, Higher Education Network participants
and other healthcare organizations to promote the mission of ACHE
to all of our RAC volunteers below who remain active and engaged in this
important aspect of healthcare leadership!
If you have been looking for
opportunities to meet other healthcare executives or get more involved in
chapter activities, we are looking for volunteers to help with our Program,
Membership & Advancement, and Communications Committees. This could include helping plan an upcoming
event or activity, or a commitment to join the committee long term. Please let me know if you are interested, and
we would be happy to discuss opportunities further.
