According to a June 24 New York Times editorial about electronic health records, "It is time to drag private physicians out of the paper age."

The Academy and APPI have launched a campaign to support a federal effort to honor patient participants in clinical trials. The effort is embodied in House Resolution 248, which encourages public recognition of clinical trial participants, and we need your help. For more information, click here.

The 15th International Conference on Pharmaceutical Medicine (ICPM 2008), organized by the International Federation of Associations of Pharmaceutical Physicians, will be held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, September 7–10.

The Call for Proposals for the ACRP 2009 Global Conference & Exhibition with the APPI Physicians Program in Denver has a deadline of June 30, 2008. Details are available at www.acrp2009.org.
