Readings, Resources, & Events of Interest

The Academy and APPI have launched a campaign to support a federal effort to honor patient participants in clinical trials. The effort is embodied in House Resolution 248, which encourages public recognition of clinical trial participants, and we need your help. For more information, click here.

The FDA is seeking comments on its "Draft Information Sheet Guidance for Sponsors, Clinical Investigators, and IRBs on Frequently Asked Questions – Statement of Investigator (Form FDA 1572); Availability" by September 29. For more information, click here.

The 15th International Conference on Pharmaceutical Medicine (ICPM 2008), organized by the International Federation of Associations of Pharmaceutical Physicians, will be held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, September 7–10.
