Researchers Examine Cancer Trials; Studies Starting Up at Several Major Centers

Patients prefer to challenge nurses rather than doctors about safety issues related to their care, reveals research in the journal Quality and Safety in Health Care. Furthermore, women are far more prepared to speak up than men, the research shows.

ACRP and APPI have launched a campaign to support a federal effort to honor patient participants in clinical trials. The effort is embodied in House Resolution 248, which encourages public recognition of clinical trial participants, and we need your help. For more information, click here.
