We continue to hear from many of you that the labor market remains tight. While it is clear that worker shortages are, in some cases, a significant problem for many contractors, we feel it is important to continue our efforts to better quantify where these shortages are taking place, how severe they are, and what steps firms are taking to both cope with tight labor markets and improve the supply of new, qualified workers. AGC New York State Raises $65,000 for Industry Scholarships
 

On Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, NY, 325 golfers took part in the AGC NYS Anthony S. Santaro Scholarship Classic.  The annual golf tournament is the key fundraiser for the AGC NYS Scholarship Program, which helps fund an average of 25 scholarships worth $2500 per year and provides grants to the 14 State AGC Student Chapters in New York.  Since 1988, the scholarship program has awarded close to $1.2 million.
