Deadline to Apply is Tuesday, October 31, 2017
 
Interested in getting more involved nationally? AGC of America is now accepting applications for the 2017-2020 CLC National Steering Committee. In order to be considered for the National Steering Committee, the applicant must complete this application which includes information regarding the applicant’s background, approval from the applicant’s supervisor, and a letter of recommendation from their Chapter Executive. OSHA Begins Full Enforcement of the Silica in Construction Standard
 

October 23, 2017, the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) begins full enforcement of its respirable crystalline standard for construction. If your construction company operates under OSHA state-plans in one of 26 states or two territories, it is important that you check to see if your OSHA state-plan agency is following the federal OSHA’s lead with this enforcement policy. The AGC of Greater Milwaukee and Milwaukee CLC Hosts Jobsite Tour of the new Milwaukee Bucks Arena
 

On October 12th, the Associated General Contractors of Greater Milwaukee’s Construction Leadership Council (CLC) will host a jobsite tour for the local AGC Student Chapters at the new Milwaukee Bucks Arena. The project is being managed by member company M.A. Mortenson, which recently celebrated the half-way point of the project with a successful topping off ceremony.  Read More

WYCA Cheyenne Chapter assists Make-A-Wish Wyoming in Building Treehouse for Eight-year-old girl
 
Members of the Wyoming Young Contractors’ Association (WYCA) Cheyenne Chapter, several volunteers of the local community, and a small army of experienced contractors joined together to make a little girl’s wish come true.  In just one day, the majority of the treehouse was built and a few days later it was painted several colors of the rainbow, both inside and out.  Read More

AGC of America is now accepting applications for AGC members to serve a four-year term (2018-2022) on the Diversity & Inclusion Council Steering Committee.
