  AGC ADVISES OSHA ON TRENCH SAFETY INITIATIVES
AGC’s Municipal & Utilities Division in concert with the AGC Safety & Health Services Department is working to enhance trench safety awareness.

AGC is working to involve other entities such as the Common Ground Alliance (CGA) and One-Call Centers nationwideOSHA convened a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health (ACCSH) Trenching Workgroup on Tuesday June 21st in Washington, DC.  AGC is involved in several workgroup initiatives such as training firefighters in rescue techniques and to ensure that excavators are aware of trench safety directives from OSHA.  For more information contact AGC Municipal & Utilities Division Director Stu Megaw or AGC Associate Director of Safety & Health Services Edward Pachico.
