TRUST FUND FOR CLEAN WATER INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRESSING
AGC recently hosted a reception at our Capitol Hill Townhouse honoring Congressman Jimmy Duncan (R-TN), author of H.R. 4560, the Clean Water Trust Act.  In concert with our partners in the Water Infrastructure Network (WIN), AGC is encouraging Congressional support for H.R. 4560 which calls for $7.15 billion per year to help finance wastewater infrastructure construction and rehabilitation.

Congressman Duncan chairs the House Water Resources and Environment Subcommittee and has been a consistent champion for water and wastewater construction funding.  At AGC’s 2005 Midyear Meeting in Washington, Duncan indicated his support for the AGC-endorsed trust fund concept. For more information on how you can encourage Congress to act, visit AGC’s Legislative Action Center.  Click on Increase Funding for Clean Water.
