SANDHERR ADDRESSES OVER FIVE HUNDRED ONE-CALL STAKEHOLDERS

AGC CEO Steve Sandherr traveled to the Common Ground Alliance (CGA) convention in Orlando, Florida to express AGC support for CGA, the new 811 program,  and to highlight AGC's dedication to worker and public safety as well as damage prevention.

During Sandherr's presentation, he expressed AGC support for the 811 three-digit dialing campaign for one-call systems.  811 will be rolled out on May 1 in Washington, DC as the only number that excavators will need to contact their local one-call center.  AGC is pleased to be the first National Launch Partner for 811.  Visit www.call811.com for more information.

If you have any questions about the 811 program or the Common Ground Alliance please contact Stu Megaw at 703/837-5321 or megaws@agc.org. [ return to top ]
