AGC ASSISTS AMERICAN PUBLIC WORKS ASSOCIATION PROMOTE INFRASTRUCTURE FUNDING AWARENESS

For several years, AGC has joined the American Public Works Association (APWA) and other industry  partners promoting National Public Works Week (May 20-26) on Capitol Hill.

AGC will be sponsoring several events this week to emphasize to Congessional leaders and staff the serious need for funding for infrastructure.  Also, AGC will rewew our partnership with APWA by signing an updated agreement between the two associations at a ceremony in Washington, DC on May 22nd.  Recently Congress declared the week of May 20th National Public Works Week. NPWW has been celebrated since 1960 and for several years AGC has partnered with APWA both nationally and on a chapter-to-chapter basis to promote infrastructure investment.  [ return to top ]
