AGC Survey on OSHA Confined Space Costs
AGC of America is conducting an economic survey to determine the impact of compliance costs for contractors on the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) notice for proposed rulemaking (NPRM) on confined space in construction.
If enacted in its present form, the OSHA proposed rule on confined space will create significant training, personnel and compliance costs for all sectors of the construction industry and it is critical that AGC members weigh in on this survey.
If AGC does not collect sufficient data to contradict OSHA’s costs estimates this proposed will affect your bottom line. To learn more about the proposed rule visit the AGC website for information. http://www.agc.org/cs/advocacy/regulatory_action/regulatory_action_comment_details?id=15
OSHA will conduct a public hearing for confined space in construction next week
July 22-23, 2008 in
Washington,
DC. AGC of America will be represented at the hearing by MU Division Vice Chairman

Please carefully read the survey and collect all necessary data to complete the questions before completing the survey.
The survey is located at- http://www.agc.org/confinedspacesurvey.
The close date for the survey is
