  Generation Expert to Talk About Employing “Millennials”
Neil Howe, co-author of Millennials Rising and noted generation expert, will speak at a leadership development seminar called Millenials – Recruiting, Training, and Managing the Next Generation during AGC’s 2004 Midyear Meeting.

The session, which is sponsored by the Workforce Development, Education, and Supervisory Training Committees, will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on September 30.  The Midyear Meeting will be held September 30 - October 2, 2004, at the beautiful J.W. Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix, AZ. 

“Millennials” are individuals born between 1982 and 2002.The first class of millennials graduated college this past spring.  They are the considered the most numerous, affluent, and ethnically diverse generation in American history.  Howe will describe the unique attributes of this generation and will explain the topics to address when recruiting, training and managing this up-and-coming group.
