  DOL Representatives to Talk About High Growth Training Initiative, Workforce Investment Boards, and One-Stops at AGC Convention
AGC’s Workforce Development Committee will meet during AGC’s Annual Convention on Tuesday, March 15, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Representatives from the Department Labor (DOL) will provide information on the DOL’s High Growth Job Training Initiative and the “Power of e3 - Economic Development, Employment, Education.”   The meeting will also focus on local labor resources available from DOL, including local Workforce Investment Boards (WIBs) and local employment One-Stops.  WIBs and One-Stops are both being reinvented for the 21st Century to be more responsive to local workforce needs.  The meeting is open to all Convention registrants.
