  Staff Salaries Up 4% This Year
Non-craft construction staff received an average salary increase of 4.0 percent in 2006-07, while construction executives received an average increase of 5.0 percent, according to the latest Construction/Construction Management Staff Salary Survey issued by PAS, Inc.

Respondents to PAS’s survey indicated that they expect to raise staff salaries will an average of 4.2 percent in 2007-08, to raise executive salaries by 5.1 percent, and to raise exempt professional salaries by 3.9 percent.  Based on historical experience, however, PAS projects actual increases in 2007-08 to be in the range of 4.7 to 4.8 percent.
