Register NOW for the June 9-10 HR Forum!

Although the registration deadline for AGC’s 4th Human Resource Professionals Networking Forum was May 18, some space is still available and registrations are still being accepted for a limited time. The program will take place June 9-10, 2005, in Boston, MA. It is open to HR professionals directly employed by AGC-member general or specialty contractor firms.

This event provides a rare opportunity for construction-industry HR professionals to share best practices, questions, and information about the practical HR issues that contractors face daily.  The primary activity will be roundtable discussions about such hot issues as talent management and succession planning; health savings accounts, health reimbursement arrangements, and flexible spending accounts; vacation and sick pay; internship and co-op programs; paid time off policies; and online training.  There will also be a panel presentation on termination procedures and an attorney presentation on applying overtime regulations in the construction industry.

For details and registration, click here.  You will need your personal national AGC member ID number to access this members-only page.  If you do not know your ID number, contact membership@agc.org.  For other registration assistance, contact Crystal Yates at yatesc@agc.org or (703) 837-5437.  For other questions about this program, contact Denise Gold at goldd@agc.org or (703) 837-5326.

This program has been approved for 3.25 recertification credit hours toward PHR and SPHR recertification through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).  For more information about certification or recertification, please visit the HRCI homepage at www.hrci.org.
