AGC’s Construction Education Committee to meet September 27-29, 2007
Learn how you can get involved

The Construction Education Committee plans its next meeting for September 27-29, 2007 in Philadelphia, PA. All AGC chapter staff and members are invited to attend this meeting. Some of the many activities and initiatives that will take place or be discussed at the meeting include:

  • Presentation of the 2007 Outstanding Student Chapter Award to the winning students, 
  • Planning for the 2008 ASC-AGC National Student Competition in Las Vegas, 
  • Review progress of Project Managers curriculum development, 
  • Review the AGC’s Leadership in Construction Workshop, 
  • Construction Project Manager Course and Advanced Management Program, 
  • Planning for the launch of the Leadership for Young Constructors program, and 
  • Planning for new programs in 2008, i.e. programs with chapters, webinars.

    The committee utilizes its members to clearly identify professional development and training needs, to locate existing solutions or develop solutions, to distribute and promote these solutions utilizing modern information exchange technology, and to consistently monitor the results of implementation.  It is the vision of the committee to guide AGC to be the industry’s leading resource for quality educational information and programs.

    AGC members who would like to formally join the committee are asked to have the executive of their home chapter send a letter to AGC of America requesting formal membership. The letters should be addressed to President Steve Massie and sent to:
