The Rees Scholarship Foundation (Rees), a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation of AHRI, last year awarded $147,500 to 85 students, including twelve military veterans, studying to become technicians in the HVACR and water heating industry. AHRI to Host Seminars on CARB Refrigerant Regulations

AHRI will host  three seminars in California on the California Air Resources Board (CARB) regulations regarding hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants. These seminars will provide an opportunity for stakeholders and interested parties to learn more about the upcoming refrigerant transition, what it means for the use of next-generation refrigerants, and how stakeholders can prepare. We aim to answer any questions participants may have about new refrigerants and provide details on what is changing – and largely what is staying the same – as these regulations go into effect.

If your organization or someone you know is interested in attending one of these free events, please email Chris Bresee (cbresee@ahrinet.org) to reserve a spot.
