That’s A Wrap: Awards Show Season 2011
Congratulations to all of the honorees at the 2011 AICP Show & Next Awards. Among the highlights of the Show was the tie for Advertising Excellence/Single Commercial. The two honorees are: Nike’s “Write The Future,” directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, and produced by Anonymous Content and Independent Films, out of Wieden+Kennedy, and Volkswagen’s “The Force,” via Deutsch LA, and directed by Lance Acord of Park Pictures.  The honor for Advertising Excellence/Campaign went to Allstate’s “Teen Driver,” “Flag,” and “Douglas Fir,” directed by Phil Morrison of Epoch Films, out of Leo Burnett Chicago. To mark the 20th anniversary of the AICP Show, The Art & Technique of the American Commercial, a motion-activated installation which allowed guests to view selections from the past 20 years of the Show was featured in the sculpture garden at The Museum of Modern Art the night of the Show’s premiere. Read More
