DGA PROGRAM TRAINS FUTURE INDUSTRY STARS

Since 2007, The Directors Guild of America has trained budding stars in the commercial production industry through the DGA Training Program. "The two-year program is an opportunity for a Production Assistant to move off of the truck and start working side by side with the best people in the commercial industry,” according to Bob Fisher, Owner of Celsius Films and a member of the Board of Trustees for the DGA Training Program.  Read More

Just when I was about to start writing this piece it was announced that Simon Cowell will start a new TV show competition to find the next big DJ.  And what could be a more appropriate way to begin, since I am writing about how dance music is the new pop.  Pop music has been trending this way for years, but it wasn't until recent years that artists like Tiesto embarked on college tours, and festivals with hundreds of thousands in attendance sprung up on every corner of the country.
