AICP SHOW HONORS BEST COMMERCIALS OF THE YEAR
The AICP Show premiered on June 12th at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City. Serving as chair of this year’s Show was Jackie Kelman Bisbee, Founding Partner/Co-Owner, of Park Pictures. The Art & Technique of the American Commercial premiered at MoMA, with 2,000 members of the advertising, marketing and production industries in attendance.

NEXT AWARDS HONORS THE MOST INNOVATIVE WORK
The debut of this year’s 2012 AICP Show was led off by the sixth annual Next Awards, which recognizes marketing that crosses boundaries and media channels. This year’s Next Awards were chaired by Rei Inamoto, Chief Creative Officer of AKQA, and saw the addition of three new categories: Social, Cause Marketing, and Most Next. Read More
SALLY ANTONACCHIO WINS EISENSTAT AWARD

The Jay B. Eisenstat Award is the AICP’s highest honor. This year the award was presented to Sally Antonacchio, Vice President of The Artists Company, current Chair of the Producers Health Benefits Plan (PHBP) Board of Trustees, and until recently, a  long-time AICP board member. Read More

STUDIO AKA+ BLACKLIST & STARDUST SET THE MOOD AT THE AICP SHOW

Each year, the AICP Show features custom-designed titles for the Show reel and Sponsor Loop.  For the 2012 Show titles, STUDIO AKA director Christopher Gray teamed with Blacklist to create the opening sequence. Additionally, STUDIO AKA produced series of 23 separate titles for each of the show’s award categories – plus the end credits– as well as designs for the 2012 AICP program book.  Read More

SOCIAL MEDIA BRINGS AICP SHOW TO NEW LEVEL
Beginning with the launch of the 2012 AICP Show “Call For Entries” campaign in January, the AICP executed a cohesive Social Media strategy to promote this year’s Show and build our audience online. The results were undeniably an enormous success story.  A record number of entries to the Show...A sell-out Crowd at MoMA…and huge audience growth for our social media channels. Read More
