AICP SHOW AND NEXT AWARDS BEGIN TOUR IN LOS ANGELES TOMORROW

A reflection of the changing industry, The Next Awards will once again join The AICP Show on tour this year - first stop: Los Angeles on July 25th at the Hammer Museum. The Next Awards honor marketing that crosses boundaries and media channels across eight categories: Integrated Campaign, Viral/Web Film, Website/Microsite, Product Integration, Social, Mobile, Cause Marketing and Experiential.

In Los Angeles, Next judges will have a panel discussion about the work, and offer insights into the state of the industry. This will be followed by a screening of the work and a series of short films showcasing the judges’ thoughts. Appearing in Los Angeles will be:

Winston Binch, Partner/Chief Digital Officer, Deustch
Dustin Callif, Executive Producer, Digital, Tool of North America
Tanya LeSieur, Director of Integrated Production, Saatchi & Saatchi
Moderator: Matt Miller, President & CEO, AICP

New this year is the Most Next Award, which is a Best in Show honor that exemplifies from among this year’s Next winners the most innovative and forward thinking work of the year. Criteria for the winner includes: innovation, longevity, and a demonstration of new potential for the industry.  This year’s honor went to Sony & Nissan’s “GT Academy,” out of TBWA\Chiat\Day and directed by @radical.media’s Jeff Zwart.

The Next Awards serve as a great lead in to The AICP Show, which makes its return to the newly refurbished Hammer Museum. The Los Angeles advertising community will gather in the architecturally and artistically beautiful culture center. Here’s the full schedule of events:
