In April, the Curatorial Committees for the AICP Show and AICP Next Awards met in New York City. The Curatorial Committees are comprised of a diverse array
of industry leaders, working in all disciplines that contribute to creating
marketing in the motion image. The Committees are part of a bifurcated judging
system, which begins with a series of judging panels from across the country,
with experts in various fields judging work across all categories in the Show
and Next Awards. Each Curatorial Committee is the final arbiter in the
disposition of their respective show, confirming eligibility and
appropriateness to category. Winners
of the AICP Show and AICP Next Awards become a part of the archives of
the Department of Film at The Museum of Modern Art.
