Now that November is here, it’s time to start thinking about Super Bowl ads and award show entries for 2018. It’s also time to think about your benefit plans!

As AICP general members, one of the benefits of membership is access to the Producers’ Health Benefits Plan (PHBP) – a comprehensive, large group plan with benefits across medical and dental with Anthem Blue Cross, vision with VSP, and Disability with Metlife, and one of the nations’s largest networks, with in-network access to more than 90% of the nations’s hospitals and more than 80% of providers overall.

AICP general members electing PHBP for the first time may join at any time of the year, but with Open Enrollment for 2018 starting on November 17th, 2017, why not start your year off with the Plan that was designed for companies in the commercial production industry? Not only is the Plan more than competitive with other health plans with regard to quality and cost, but the Plan’s provisions have been tailored for the lifestyle of the freelance employees, as well as for the commercial producer. For example, one of PHBP’s unique features assists freelance employees in transferring to staff positions, and vice versa, without losing coverage. And if you didn’t know, PHBP recently expanded into digital and post-production for employers not signed to the IATSE Commercial Production Agreement, which means even more freelance employees have access to PHBP’s benefit plans.

To find out more about PHBP’s Plan features, or about joining PHBP, please call Susan Kaiser, PHBP’s Executive Director, at 646-370-1431, or email at
