New Research from Catch&Release: "Sourced" Content is the Creative Medium of the Future!

Change is often relentless and inevitable. Brands and advertisers should always be looking for evidence of the next shift in consumer attitudes or behaviors. This ebook is about navigating one of those changes: the evolution of user-generated content (UGC). Catch&Release recently surveyed 100 advertising professionals and they all agree: UGC is a powerful creative medium that moves the needle in ways traditionally-produced ads just can’t.

Our survey revealed that 87 percent of advertising professionals expect the amount of Sourced Content (the all-encompassing term for all types of UGC that lives on the internet) they use to increase over the next year. As social media has surged in popularity, it has become a massive repository of user-generated photos and videos. No matter what type of content your brand needs, there’s a good chance it lives on sites like Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. We call this the democratization of advertising — a way to keep brands and advertisers as agile and responsive as possible. When you combine that affordability and agility with the capacity to generate trust and loyalty, it’s easy to see why “Sourced” Content is only becoming more important to advertisers.

In this ebook, you’ll discover how to find and license Sourced Content for use in your next great campaign -- not to mention for a fraction of the time and cost of a live-action production. Today, productions move fast but budgets are smaller. Learn how to save your team (and client) precious time and money without sacrificing the integrity of the creative; as well as best practices for how to safely and securely license real content, from real people across the web.

Download now to get the full survey results and see how brands like Gillette, Red Lobster and Apple are using Sourced Content to relate to consumers like never before.
