Cincinnati’s Access Rebrands Paratransit Vehicles |
Access, the paratransit service in the Cincinnati region, recently received a logo and design makeover to emphasize the service’s family resemblance to the vehicles providing Metro fixed route service. The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority operates both Metro and Access.
Three new Access buses with the new logo and design entered service Feb. 1, the day after the agency unveiled one of the vehicles at the Easter Seals Work Resource Center. Access will introduce the new look on buses as they replace the current 44-vehicle fleet.
Access is a shared-ride public transportation service, providing origin-to-destination transportation in small buses for people whose disabilities prevent them from riding Metro buses. The service provides about 175,000 rides per year.
