APTA Business Members Announce Acquisitions

Clever Devices, Woodbury, NY, has acquired Houston-based RSM Services Corporation, a provider of public transit ridership reporting software.

“This is very exciting news for us,” said Frank Ingrassia, president and chief executive officer of Clever Devices. “Passenger counters were one of our earliest products and this investment demonstrates our ongoing commitment to delivering the best technology available."

Rich Ruskan, founder and chief executive officer of RSM Services, added, “Our company is a very strong cultural fit with Clever Devices. Both organizations are industry leaders and have similar emphases on customers, employees, innovation and excellence.”

Syncromatics Corp. has entered into a strategic investment agreement with GMV. Syncromatics will continue operating in the U.S. as an independent company with headquarters in Los Angeles, with support from GMV.

Syncromatics provides advanced computer-aided dispatch/automatic vehicle location technologies. GMV is a global technology company with subsidiaries in 11 countries and customers on six continents.
