Vice President Biden Visits Detroit DOT

Vice President Joe Biden spoke with Detroit DOT bus driver Brian Miller during his Sept. 17 visit to Detroit. Biden joined Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan at Detroit DOT headquarters to welcome the last four buses in an 80-vehicle order, which means the agency has enough buses running to meet its schedule for the first time in two decades. “Detroit is resilient, it’s tough and it’s defined by a work ethic that’s unmatched” anywhere else, the vice president said as he spoke about how federal investments are helping the city's economic revitalization efforts.
