Genova, Denver RTD
David A. Genova, who had been serving Denver’s Regional Transportation District as interim general manager and chief executive officer since April 2015, has been named to the post on a permanent basis.
Genova has worked with RTD for more than 22 years. He previously served as assistant general manager of safety, security and facilities and senior manager of public safety, among other positions. He is a member of numerous APTA committees and a past chair of the Rail Safety Committee.
Boyce, Ben Franklin Transit
Ben Franklin Transit (BFT), Richland, WA, has named Gloria Boyce, interim general manager, to the position on a permanent basis. Boyce joined BFT in 2012, serving as administrative services manager until she took on the interim post.
Previously, she was director of capital programs coordination and reporting at Houston’s Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County and served six years with the Sacramento Regional Transit District in various positions, including director of finance/treasury and chief financial officer. For APTA, she is a member of the Bus & Paratransit CEOs, Mobility Management and Small Operations committees.
